The Beginning Series is a four month program of two classes (Beginner, Intermediate) which run for two months each. The Beginner and Intermediate classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm. The Beginning Series starts on the first Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. More information on the beginners classes may be found here.

The Basics classes are designed for students who are in the Intermediate class level and above.

The Open class is for our experienced students.

The Focus Class on Wednesday evenings is a 90 minute class taught by Ikeda sensei and is open to students at the intermediate level and above. Focusing on underlying principles of movement and power rather than on conventional techniques, it is designed to promote deeper understanding of aikido's internal elements.

The Weapons Class is taught three times per week by Hofmeister sensei and senior instructors. The Weapons Class is open to students at the intermediate level and above. Weapons class presents the techniques of bokken, jo, and tanto (wooden sword, staff, and knife) which are requirements for advanced testing.

The Ukemi class is designed for those already comfortable with basic fundamental ukemi (forward/backward rolls and falls).

Students of Boulder Aikikai also offer classes through the Naropa University and University of Colorado at Boulder.
