Support our GoFundMe Campaign: Renew our practice space

In 2025, Boulder Aikikai will celebrate 45 years of practice. Boulder Aikikai is starting a capital campaign with a primary goal of replacing the dojo mats and repairing the sub-floor that supports them. We are so grateful to our family and friends who have been part of the dojo community, both near and far. We invite you to visit and look forward to training together, becoming part of our collective story as we move into the future. We thank you for your generous support.
WELCOME
Boulder Aikikai is an aikido community in Boulder, CO and was established by Hiroshi Ikeda in 1980 for the study of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. The dojo is affiliated with the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, through the Aikido Shimbokukai. We are a federal non-profit educational organization and welcomes all students who can safely participate in our programs. All of our classes are open for free observation.
New students are always welcome. We have open enrollment at any time and a focused Introductory Series a few times a year. If you have any questions, please email us!
There are currently two types of classes being offered: virtual and indoor practice. Find the complete schedule on our Classes page.
