WELCOME TO THE BOULDER AIKIKAI WEBSITE
Boulder Aikikai was established by Hiroshi Ikeda in 1980 for the study of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. The dojo is affiliated with the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, through the Aikido Shimbokukai.
Boulder Aikikai is a federal non-profit educational organization and welcomes all students who can safely participate in our programs. All of our classes are open for free observation.
COVID-19 RESPONSE: UPDATE APRIL 19
Boulder Aikikai is currently closed and all classes are canceled. The dojo will also be closed for individual or informal practices. We will continue to follow the statewide Stay-At-Home order and reassess the situation on April 26th.
Boulder Aikikai does have ongoing expenses, so if you can continue your support it will be very helpful and much appreciated. We're a community supported non-profit and dues and seminar fees are our only income. In case you didn't know, I'd also like to mention that we're entirely run by volunteers. So, thank you everyone for your help and support!
